Most succession planning consultants will tell you what to do.
I have actually done it.
The rise, the collapse, the rebuild. I used to run a $65 million operation and lost everything. I started over in my 40s and found my way back.
That’s not a biography. That’s the reason I am the right person to sit across from a business owner who doesn’t know what comes next.

Like many of us, I’ve always been drawn to (and inspired by) stories that showcase examples of human accomplishment. While their specific goals are interesting, I’m primarily curious about each person’s unique journey.
What drove their desire? Who and what helped them rise above the daily noise and keep going? How did they shift gears and maintain motivation while skirting (or blasting through) the inevitable external and internal obstacles?
As they strive for their personal best, I’ve observed three essential elements—ones we can all harness— connection, vision, and tenacity. But how they tap into these is unique to the individual.
That’s why I bring curiosity to my coaching approach, too. It’s fundamental to helping my clients clarify the gap between the past or present and the future they want.
I thrive in working with people to co-create supportive structures and tools that help them understand themselves and be more successful in delivering on their goals. I have a system that empowers my clients to realize their potential and put in the practices and support they need to perform at their highest level. I believe everyone has the power and knowledge to reach their goals, and a coach to help identify the barriers, provide straight talk, and support them along the way.

I have been married to my wife, a teacher, for 24 years. I am a father of twin girls who are in high school. Being a father is one of my greatest pleasures. I think I learn more from them and how they approach the world than I can ever teach them how to navigate life.
I love playing golf, camping, traveling, and riding my bike. In 2018, my daughters and I accomplished a goal of riding our bikes across California, from Yuma, AZ, to Encinitas, CA. It was a great experience to plan and train for 8 months to accomplish the 7-day, 257-mile camping and riding adventure.
It would be my joy to help you explore what’s possible for your life, too.

No pitch. No pressure. Just a conversation about
where your business is and what you want to happen next.
